First part of the book starts with short story of Avro company, including its products before the Lancaster was born. Next chapter describes Lancaster predecessor - Avro 679 Manchester. Most extensive is the story of Avro 683 Lancaster development and its variants. Camouflage and markings are also described. Several pages are doveted to Lancaster successors including Lincoln, and a few more to the post-war constructions of Avro company.
