The history of the U-boot type VII combat operations constitutes the main part of this publication, illustrated with plenty of photographs. The chapter describes the major operations, and also contains a sequence of 15 images of capturing U 570. The chapter ends with a list of U-boot losses.

The monograph also includes a chapter about ship technical data, illustrated with photos and three-dimensional graphics of U-boot VII C/41. There are two-sided inserts (A1 format) added to the publication. Both sheets contain 3D graphics, including profiles of U-boot VII C/41 in colour (1:100 scale). In addition, one insert contains drawings of U-1105 (VII C/41) and U-441 (U-Flak 1). Moreover there are drawings of weapons installed in U-boots (1:50 scale) included. The second sheet is reserved for a tour around the U-boot, illustrated with 29 photos of interior and exterior details of U-995. There is also a sectional view of the ship, with points referring to photos marked.
